Nicole - Clinic Administrator  With over ten years in the veterinary field,
Nicole uses her experience to keep the clinic running.  Among other things,
Nicole directs client communications, coordinates staff training and
manages all staff and clinic scheduling.  Nicole's son Brady attends Henry
Steubing Elementary School and helps Nicole take care of their
dachshund, "Charlie" and Papillion mix "Presley".  Nicole is from one of the
oldest founding families of Helotes, dating back 5 generations.
Dr. Joel R. Huehn is a graduate of Texas A&M University's College of
Veterinary Medicine.  A South Texas Native, Dr. Huehn moved to San
Antonio in 1984 and graduated from Douglas MacArthur High School in
1986.  With experience that includes work in an emergency & critical
care clinic, a traveling relief practice that gave him exposure to
numerous veterinary practices around Texas and five years at a
multi-doctor veterinary hospital here in San Antonio, Dr. Huehn is a
member of the Leon Springs Business Association and is excited to
make Leon Springs his permanent practice home.

Nuria - Veterinary Assistant (CVA)  Nuria is a student at Northwest
Vista college studying Biology with the hopes of pursuing a career in
veterinary medicine.  Nuria plays several roles in our clinic, including
taking care of our boarders, helping out Dr. Huehn and the technicians
with treatments and getting our patients checked in for their appointments
on time.   Nuria takes care of her 2 dogs, Bella, a pekingnese and Cocco,
a Chocolate Lab when she's not hiking, playing soccer or riding horses.
Patti - Client Communications Specialist  New to veterinary
medicine, Patti has several years of experience in client relations
including almost 20 years in real-estate and property management and
10 years as an legal assistant and office manager for the Bee county
Attorney's office.  Patti handles appointment scheduling, client
communications and assist with administrative duties.
Kaydee - Veterinary Technician  Kaydee is currently a
freshman in college pursuing a degree in Animal Science with the
intent of attending veterinary school at Texas A&M University
after graduation.  Kaydee plans to continue to help us out at the
clinic when she comes home from College Station during
summers and Christmas break.  
Mariah-Kennel Assistant   Mariah is our second new Aggie!  Mariah is
pursuing her undegraduate studies at Texas A&M University with plans to
attend veterinary college after graduation.
